Last Night Productions is a film, theatre and television production company based in Auckland, New Zealand. Our vision is to stretch audiences to see the world from a different perspective.

Last Night Productions is dedicated to telling stories that are original, daring and captivating. We take risks and make brave choices. We work with fresh, unique talent and constantly develop and refine our expertise.

Founded in London in 2008 by Carl Dixon and Jessica Joy Wood, Last Night Productions specialises in idea generation and development, and can offer a complete production services from conception to completion.

TAKES is a monthly boutique short film festival which screens films that are original, daring, captivating and stretch audiences to see the world from a different perspective. Every third Wednesday of the month come sip on your favourite drop, grab some tasty delights, sit back and enjoy an exceptional array of carefully selected films. TAKES has developed a cult following, and was voted “Best Place to get Snowed In”.
